Devon, the busnapper, decides to give each passenger a nickname: “We won’t be using our real names here. I want each of you to come up here and I’ll choose a nickname for ya. Cuz if I have to call on you, I don’t want to say ‘Hey, you.’ That’s not personal, and kinda rude. I like one-on-one personal stuff.”

Here, I’d like to introduce you to passenger Dave aka Spyman. Spyman is a mystery to the passengers of Bus Route No. 255. He hides behind a book titled Spying for Dummies. He makes snide remarks. But in the end, the passengers find he’s a guy who they can rely on.

 Excerpt:

“What just happened?” RealBusDriver asked.

“Short story,” SpyMan answered. He was a man of few words, so he loved short stories. “I was scheduled to rendezvous with my team to arrest a jewelry heist team tomorrow. It turns out I was already here. Your wife is the mastermind. I didn’t put two and two together until we started over here. Sorry about keeping it on the down low like this.”

“Okay,” responded RealBusDriver. “I admit it’s a surprise to me…I don’t know what to think.”

“I’m taking her and her main men away. The rest will have to wait until backup arrives.” SpyMan hesitated and put his hand on RealBusDriver’s shoulder. “I’m sorry.” He then spoke into his watch. “10-4. Time to rock ‘n’ roll.”
