Synopsis

Thoughts/Review:

I read the first book of this series early this year and enjoyed the book a lot. I fell in love with Emma and Chance immediately and loved the romantic suspense element. In this second installment, Emma is dealing with her dark past and how she will be able to move forward with Chance as she opens up with her trauma.

T.L. Mahrt wrote a wonderful suspenseful read with just the right balance of thrill and romance. I loved that the characters had a great backs story and added to the character development for both Emma and Chance. I enjoyed the surprising twists and definitely more to come in this fabulous series. Keep 'em coming! I cannot wait for the next chapter!

About the Author:

T. L. Mahrt is a former business owner, where she utilized her education in cosmetology, barbering and massage therapy for several years. She was raised on and is currently living on a farm in Nebraska, where you can find her running barefoot in the country side with her loving husband and inspiring children and massive dogs.

After having her son, who was born with Cerebral Palsy, she made the life altering decision to stay home to care for her two children and pursue her love for writing. She has a love for romance and poetry where, her overactive imagination, along with her adventures and up beat lifestyle drives her inspiration for her writing.
