MY REVIEW:
WHAT NOW? is the amazing sequel to book "WHAT IF?" that has been a bestseller and has really put Shari Low's name on the map for her amazing romcoms and women's fiction books. Twenty years later we follow back up with Carly Cooper and how she is doing and since so many things have happened and two teenage sons later with a pending divorce. She sets out to Los Angeles with her girlfriends to see whether her marriage is worth saving or moving in is the right answer.
I enjoyed reading WHAT IF? and the young, fun, and free spirited Carly then, and the pre-menopausal and forty something Carly that we are reading now in this book. I find that her character is definitely relatable and so well written. I noticed myself laughing and agreeing many times to what Carly is going through. There are a lot of endearing characters and some memorable ones you will remember from the first book that have come back and some such as life have moved on.
The book was very well written - this was certainly an uplifting read that celebrates life, friendships and family, while finding and accepting ourselves despite the changes in our lives. This was fantastic and I loved and enjoyed this book so much!
