Alfie snuggles down in bed,
dreams still in his little head.
He dreams he's a king going out for a ride.
"A dragon sleeps in front of the gate," they cried.

FIVE MINUTES ALFIE BY Lily Mae Walters Illustrated by Jack Foster
This is a lovely children's rhyming book with a beautiful and resounding message as a theme in this book. The illustrations are vibrant that describes the emotion and the characters well within the storyline. The colors, the scenes in the castle with the king, queen and dragon and the case of characters were illustrated very beautifully and catch the readers' eyes. Everyone reading this will really appreciate the beautiful and creative illustrations.
The book can be read in 5 minutes and told as Alfie was being woken up my his mother and asks for just another 5 minutes to sleep. Alfie dreams on and is transported to a kingdom where he is king and tasked to resolve a dragon sized problem. Through the Kin's kindness, he was able to resolve the problem and help the injured dragon.
I think that this is a great story that when read out loud with the different voices and characters, this read would be fun for all. I recommend this beautiful book for the story and the illustrations the whole family would enjoy. I certainly did and had a great time reading this.
