The title of this book was so amazing and irresistible, I had to read it. It was the perfect book for me to get into the changing of the seasons mood from the scorching heat this summer to the cooler nights and weather hoping for a heart warming and tantalizing story. Fielding definitely delivered with this amazing second chance romance that made my heart melt and swoon.

We have an heiress Chloe who longs for her freedom and to try to make it on her own. All by herself in Paris working like crazy to make ends meet. Well worth the price for independence from her controlling father and a mother who could not stand up to the patriarchal rule over their household. Enter James - a childhood friend who has now come in to her life and will this second chance work out while she is in Paris and he in London?

What a heart tugging romance as I figure out how this relationship will end while rooting for both Chloe and James. Fielding wrote a fantastic Christmas novel that checked off all the boxes for me to make this a perfect read for the holiday season and truthfully any season.
